At AscentCore, our mentoring program creates space for employees to learn from one another, share perspectives, and improve the way they work. These relationships build trust, expand skills, and support long-term professional growth.
This is the story of Dani, a graphic designer, and his mentor, Daniel Vinersar, a Senior UX designer and AI Product Designer. Together, they found ways to improve their design practice and broaden their thinking.
A Mentor’s Perspective
Daniel entered the program expecting to guide Dani in user interface principles. Instead, the experience began with a reminder of the value of a fresh point of view. Dani’s background in graphic design brought a different approach to layout, color, and visual storytelling. This encouraged the mentor to revisit core design fundamentals and to think about how to explain design logic more clearly.
The most challenging part was finding the balance between giving direction and allowing space for independent exploration. Dani’s strong visual instincts meant that the focus shifted from UI principles to deeper topics such as user experience thinking, structuring design decisions, and translating research into solutions.

A Mentee’s Perspective
For Dani, the mentoring program was an opportunity to move beyond technical design skills. He learned to approach projects in a more strategic and empathetic way, looking at how design choices affect the people who use the product.
As a naturally intuitive creator, Dani’s process was less structured. His mentor helped him organize his workflow, which gave him more time for research and creative problem-solving.

Mutual Growth
The mentorship experience was not just about one person teaching another. Both participants left with new skills and clearer thinking. Daniel, in his role as a mentor, refined leadership and communication abilities, while Dani gained confidence, structure, and the ability to express design ideas effectively.
Stories like this reflect AscentCore’s focus on empowering excellence and building a collaborative environment. Our mentoring program is one way we connect people, encourage shared learning, and strengthen our workplace culture.
